This page is for My Financial Foundation clients to download the prerequisite financial forms necessary to conduct our session. All financial forms must be completed (in this format) in their entirety before our meeting takes place. The sheets are designed to give us an accurate snapshot of your present finances so that we don't have to waste time figuring out where you are...rather, we can spend all of our time developing a plan to get you where you want to go.
All forms are available in Microsoft Excel (.xls) format for those who are able to complete the forms on their computer and print them out to bring to our session. This is our preferred method simply because it is cleaner, easier and the various totals are automatically populated for you. Additionally, the electronic versions of the forms are much more robust in terms of functionality.
Download the workbook below by clicking on the "My Financial Worksheets" link (Choose the "Save To" option and save the document - perhaps in your My Documents folder or on the Desktop):
THERE ARE TABS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SPREADSHEET.
MAKE SURE YOU READ THE "INSTRUCTIONS" TAB FIRST.
IT WILL EXPLAIN THE REST OF THE TABS.
When you're done, just e-mail them to rob@myfinancialfoundation.com.
All forms are also available in Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) format for those who prefer to print the forms and fill them out by hand. Download the printable sheets below if you don't have access to Excel:
A few miscellaneous instructions to make the pre-session forms completion process easier:
1.) Make sure you read the "Instructions" PDF if you are using the Adobe Acrobat Documents, or the "Instructions" tab on the Microsoft Excel Workbook if you are completing them on the computer. This sheet will explain the rest of the sheets - very important that you read and understand everything on this sheet first.
2.) On the "Income Sources" sheet, please give your NET TAKE HOME PAY, not your gross pay. We need to know how much money with which we actually have to work with each month. Net numbers tell us that, not gross.
3.) On the "Monthly Cashflow" sheet, be as accurate as possible, but don't spend too much time trying to figure everything out to the penny. If your cable bill is $45.87, just put $46.00 - you get the picture. Record what you are ACTUALLY spending, not what you think you SHOULD BE spending. There will be many areas where you will just have to give your best estimate, and that's perfectly fine. The necessary corrections will be made as a part of our session.
We'll mark up the sheets quite a bit in our session. But a few days after our session, you will receive a clean, new document with everything detailed out in an easily understandable and workable format. Looking forward to meeting you and to our session!
